Doors, Trim & Molding

Solid stock milled to your profile — built to survive Florida sun, rain and humidity.

The problem

What usually goes wrong.

Stock doors and finger-jointed trim look fine on installation day. Two Florida summers later the joints have opened, the finish has chalked and the doors have cupped toward the sun.

  • Profiles limited to what the supplier stocks
  • Exterior finishes not rated for west exposure
  • Casing and crown that don't relate to each other

Our solution

How we run it instead.

We grind custom knives for your profile, build doors as engineered stile-and-rail so they stay flat, and finish all six faces before anything is hung.

01

Custom knife profiles

Match a historic profile from a sample, or design a new one and we'll grind the knife for it.

02

Doors built to stay flat

Laminated cores and marine epoxy joinery keep seasonal movement under control.

03

Six-face sealing

Tops, bottoms and edges sealed in the shop — the places where field-finished doors fail first.

04

Whole-house trim packages

Casing, base, crown, wainscot and stair parts drawn as one coherent system.

The proof

Mahogany entry sets in Windermere still looking new after a full Florida summer of west-facing sun.
